6 in 1 Solar Toy – A Great Gadget To Teach Solar Power

If you’re trying to teach kids about solar power then a fantastic new gadget, the 6 in 1 solar toy, might help the educational process as well as making learning fun. Suitable for children over 10, the 6 in 1 solar toy has no batteries and relies purely on solar power. It can be used to make 6 different toys including an airboat, windmill, puppy, and two different types of planes.
The toy’s motor is powered by the sun, but according to the manufacturers the solar panels can also be charged using 50W halogen bulb (which doesn’t sound that eco-friendly). Eco friendly toys are few and far between, but the 6 in 1 Solar Toy offers kids a bit of model making, creativity and education – it’s a kind of green Lego.
Solar panels do exist for Lego, but we’re not sure whether they’ve made a lot of effort into developing a “green Lego kit” in a similar kind of way to the 6 in 1 solar toy?
