National Bike Week 13th- 21st June – Win a Center Parcs Break

It’s aim is to encourage the people who may not otherwise go anywhere near a bicycle to get on their bike, so to speak and give it a try!
Check out the video of the final event of the 2008 Bike week – the Great Notts Bike Ride, a 50 mile cycle which was the largest mass bike ride in the UK. Looks tiring!

The main focus of the 2009 Bike Week is to encourage more families to take up cycling as a regular group activity which they can enjoy in their local area. As well as getting families together and exercising, cycling locally lets you to appreciate the community around you with the added benefit of not getting in the car and creating more pollution and congestion on the way to popular beauty spots.
There will be organised events happening up and down the country throughout Bike Week including commuter challenges, bike2Work/bike breakfasts, charity fundraising rides and free cycle safety checks.
