Woodland Trust Aim To Create a New Native Forest Near St Albans

Posted by: admin In: News

The Woodland Trust have embarked on a new initiative! They’re hoping to create a new native forest in England, something which they say hasn’t been done before. It’s located near Sandridge just three miles north of St Albans in Hertfordshire and they’re looking for donations in order to get the project funded.

They need £8.5 million to create a flourishing new forest on this site for wildlife and people to freely enjoy. To make life tougher they need to raise the money by the 30th September as the purchase of the land needs to be completed by that time.

To find out more watch the video above or head on over to The Woodland Trust.
